HIOB Andrea

Since joining the Baikal archaeology field school team in 1997 at their excavations of Khuzhir–Nuge XIV, Ms. Andrea Hiob has been the project manager for the first Baikal Archaeology Project (2001­–2011) and the Baikal–Hokkaido Archaeology Project (2011–2018), and will continue as project manager for the current Baikal Archaeology Project. She works out of the University of Alberta and is responsible for liaising with the administrative units of the University of Alberta and our BAP partners; preparing ethics proposals; supporting graduate students; organizing meetings, workshops, seminars, fieldwork and research related travel; accounting; purchasing and shipping; assisting with reports and project communications; and performing other necessary office tasks to help with daily operations.
