Ms. Rebecca Bourgeois is a Master’s student at the University of Saskatchewan, supervised by Dr. Angela Lieverse and Dr. Hugh McKenzie. Her research is focused on developing a new methodology to study fragmented human remains and how these methods can be extrapolated to explore the personhood of ancient human remains. She hopes that her work will re-humanize how bioarchaeologists consider destroyed or poorly-preserved human remains and that it will be applied across the discipline.
