ROWLEY-CONWY Peter

Dr. Peter Rowley-Conwy is professor of environmental archaeology at Durham University in the UK. His main interests are hunter-gatherers and early farmers, and he is currently studying the transition from foraging to farming in Scandinavia, Britain, and the western Mediterranean. He is also examining how Terminal Palaeolithic and Mesolithic technologies were used to hunt the largest animals, aurochs and elk. Dr. Paula Reimer is Director of the 14CHRONO Centre for Climate the Environment and Chronology at Queen’s University Belfast.  Reimer is chair of the IntCal Working Group which is responsible for constructing and updating the international radiocarbon curves with an expected update in 2019.
