Dr. Jana Gliwa wins the von Pawel-Rammingen Award for best dissertation

Congratulations to Dr. Jana Gliwa, BAP researcher, who was recently awarded a prize for best dissertation! Her dissertation was entitled “The role of seawater warming for the end-Permian mass extinction event.” The award is named after the donating couple, von Pawel-Rammingen, and was awarded for the first time this year from the Natural History Museum Berlin for the best dissertation (done in collaboration with the museum) over the the last two years. Special Issue: Holocene environments, human subsistence and adaptation in northern and eastern Eurasia

All 14 articles combine palaeoenvironmental with archaeological data to create new knowledge and thought-provoking conclusions. We have a new BAP team member! Dr. Pavel Tarasov introduces her to the team: Let me introduce a new member of the BAP Berlin team - Dr. Jana Gliwa.
